Of course this doesnt apply to everyone, but it seems like having an eating disorder is a weird fad.  It isnt something that makes you seem cool, nor should it be taken lightly.  On the flip side, being overweight is not to be taken lightly and there is nothing wrong with taking care of yourself.

I know a couple girls that claim they used to be anorexic (yet during this 'anorexic' period, they were a normal and healthy weight), but now eat and eat and eat... then complain about being heavy.

I think that with all of the "you're beautiful how you are" and "accept being chubby!" crap that girls suddenly think that if they get full off of one portion of food and choose not to eat anymore that they must be anorexic.

Since when does watching what you eat and exercising to stay in shape = an eating disorder?

as I said, this does not apply to everyone and eds are very serious, for those that truly have them.

made anon in case a friend or two stumbles upon this... i love my friends but get sick of the complaining about being fat.  freaking eat less and exercise.
