     winXp
     windows vista
    even windows 7
and there are other operating systems like open source ,
    linux
    Unix
     Minix
and there are more free operating systems on that you can freely download on www.freeos.com
my fav is the freedos operating system anyway .
I have tried the AROS EROS and many more that
I've able to download from there .
anyway , what did you think , how many linux users here , and how many windows users here ?
what are you think about linux ? do you can do everyting with linux or using any other freeos from the www.freeos.com ?

I mainly use Windows Vista (laptop and desktop computers), but at home I also have a few computers with Windows XP Pro.

At work last year i was using Ubuntu 7.10, really liked it, but it had a few bugs to do with compaz. I would love to have used it at home, but it doesnt support any of the software that I use such as Photoshop (anyone tryed to use the gimp)

At this point I only use the x86 actechure operating systems even on 64bit processers.

I like linux better.  Specifically, the best distro I've found so far, at least for my computer, is Linux Mint.  It's based off of Ubuntu, but has some extra multimedia support stuff built in.  I've had great luck with compatibility and getting everything working, from a creative mp3 player to a printer.  It's stable, fairly easy to use, and when things do go wrong, it also works with the Ubuntu forums boards, so tech support is quite abundant.

I have windows vista on this computer as well, however not completely by choice.  It's just what came installed when I got it.  I don't use it much at all, I don't really like it.  It's slow, crashes, and I simply like linux's functionality better.  But I keep it around to work out the couple compatibility things I haven't worked out yet.  That, and I have over 30GB of music saved on that partition that I really don't want to have to move around.  Yet.
