I was freaking out because I currently am a full time (20 credit, year round) student and my rent is paid for by an education trust. I pay 400 a month in rent up here, since our one bedroom is 800 a month (high for around here).

Anyway, so we're separating and I have no money. I figured I'd get a job on Saturdays to pay for the gap in rent, and my mom reminded me that the trust pays for school expenses - so to live in a dorm costs $520 a month year round - and that's what I can get for rent. Oh, and I have a dog, which everyone apparently hates around here, because no apartments take dogs -.-

I posted an ad on Craigslist and got this awesome response about a Mother-In-Law apartment in the basement of this guy's house, with heated stained concrete floors, a kitchen, etc. and they have dogs (and 3 kids) and I get to meet them tonight!

The downside is that I'm about 10 minutes away from school now, and the new place is probably upwards of 20.. but I guess I could continue riding the bus, it'd just be a bit more.. long.

EEE, I hope something works out.. I have until June 10 to have a new place lined up O_O
