There's a certain girl who's really caught my eye these past few months. I don't know her too personally, but I know of her: she's on top of the Dean's List; her brother is in a semi popular indie band; she's one of the prettiest girls in the university... and is something of a loner. She's friendly and of course she's smart, but she tends to shy away from people for some reason.
I've talked to her a few times (she complimented something I wrote in a class we've got together) but nothing too deep and interesting.
I don't think I'm the only one interested in her either as there's another guy who seems to follow her around. She sort of ignores him, but she talks to him sometimes; more than she talks to me. Which is why I think I should make a move as soon as possible.
Usually I'm sort of a natural with asking for a date, but she is so different than anyone I've asked out before! She seems so unattainable to me. Too smart, too pretty, and too damn self contained.
I don't know how to approach the situation. I feel maybe I'm out of my league here but I really hope I've got a chance.
