Publishing your website does not necessary mean that the whle world can see it. You need to publish it to a certain area, ie a webserver, for the world to see it. To be honest, the publish feature of WYSIWYG editors... sucks. It's easier to copy and paste the files to the server. Do you have any hosting?

If you're not familiar with the ins and outs of webdesign, I recommend you seek some outside help for setting it up. The last thing you want is a shoddy website to mar your name as a singer/actor.
