UGH! Last month I got a ticket for "running a red light". I told the officer I didnt understand why I was getting this ticket becasue the light was yellow and I was making a right turn...which i understand is still illegal becasue i didnt come to a complete stop. When I spoke to my school's liason officer he told me that he would talk to the officer who pulled me over and possibly get it dropped. After speaking to the officer he told me the officer said i sped through a red light...NOT TRUE! Many people have told me to go to court and plead not guilty...but it's my word against the police...and obviously their going to take the police's side. What should I do??...i want to plead not guilty but i dont want to waste my time! (ik what i did is technically illegal...but my ticket says i ran a red light...and i was only making a right turn on a yellow light.)
