does anyone know what company has the best dead and stuck pixel warranty? Also where I can find any cheap ones? My co worker goes to goodwill and gets them and fixes them but i'm not even looking to do that yet.

It varies from company to company, and I really am not sure. Some will only replace a dead pixel and not a stuck pixel. Some allow a minimum of 3 others need like 15.

You're better off getting a reliable brand that has a low dead/stuck pixel occurrence in the first place. Dell is a very good choice.

They all pretty much have the same warranty these days... normally about 3 dead pixels ish. That said, i rally don't see what has you so worried, its actually pretty rare these days, maybe 2 years ago i might be a little concerned... but not now.

The time to change to LCD's has been for some time. As it is i have 3 from the same batch and they are all just fine. I don't know anyone with one with a single dead pixel.

Until you are eligible for a product exchange, but it may vary from company to company. Three is a common number,

Stuck pixels and dead pixels are two different things.

A stuck pixel is a pixel stuck on one colour. These can normally be "un-stuck" by flashing random colours over it for a few seconds. There are a few free applications to do this.

A dead pixel is just that, dead. More commonly than not they are only on one of the colour bands. The way to find them it to make a full screen page of white, red, blue, green etc and look for them there. They will appear black on one of more screens of colour.
