I can't stop worrying.

I have a huge problem with worrying about things constantly. EVERYTHING. I mean everything too; finances, my boyfriend, homework, being late for things, etc. It gets me a bit stressed clearly...but I don't know how to stop it...

For example, I'm in a long distance relationship  *and don't give me shit for it because I don't want to hear it; I want actual advice on how to NOT worry so much* and my boyfriend fucked up once, but we've long come to terms about it. Yes, we see each other and quite often than most long distance relationships. Anyways, we were talking tonight and he out of the blue says he's going to hang with his friend at the mall...and well that doesn't shock me per se...he's done it before...but this friend lives far away typically. He's rarely in town...and apparently he is now. So that's where my boyfriend went. He said his phone's dying, but he'd turn it on at random to check msgs...but it just strikes me as strange is all.

I think I'm reading into this too much. I do trust my boyfriend, I just have a major worry problem...I need help trying not to worry so much. Any suggestions? Please?

Maybe you should drop this boyfriend. So that you have more time for other things. It's already causing you unneeded stress and do you really need that right now. Other then that I don't see what else you can drop to ease stress. You mentioned finances, school and appointments which are all more important then a boyfriend.

I can't dump him. He means the world to me. Our relationship isn't as bad as it sounds. Granted it's "extra stress" as some may see, but in the long run, he's absolutely worth it. We're going to get married someday, that's a fact.

However, the other things that stress me out is just because I have the problem of worrying when I really don't need to...I have money, yet I still worry. I have all the resources to do homework, yet I still worry. I just worry about everything. I worry about death. I just...ugh, everything.

Maybe you are suffering from depression or anxiety. I don't know just a guess. You ever thought about telling your doctor how you keep worrying. Or you ever thought about talking to a therapist?

Well, I am seeing a therapist....but it's the end of semester and I won't see her again til August. My worrying has only gotten much worse in the past few weeks. I was working out some other problems with her that needed fixed before this was brought up...fuck :(

Has your therapist ever tell you that you might suffer from anxiety or symptoms of depression?

We've talked about depression a lot...but she can't give me meds, so it's just sessions based on helping me feel better through talk...it's harder :(

when I was younger I was on meds for depression...I've been doing good and lately...things are just crushing me....

Has she referred you to a psychiatrist yet? This depression might be coming back. The battle against depression never ends.

I have no health insurance right now, nor a direct way to get it currently

Yes I am. Well, I'll have a job this summer, I should see about paying for the meds...I don't have a job right now, nor any money. Blah. Adulthood sucks.

Hmm you can apply for Medicaid if you have low or no income. For me I am disabled but I receive SSI checks in the mail. I still get my medicines free. Maybe you could ask a social worker for help.

I had one of those when I was a teen, but recently lost her due to me being 21 now. I could look into the Medicaid.

I appreciate your help a lot btw.
