I hope you know trigger =/= cause.  Not to mention that study also went on to say that people who had underlying schizophrenia were more likely to smoke marijuana to begin with.  Meaning legal or not they are probably still going to smoke it.

BTW its illegal due to propaganda, economics, and racism.  It has nothing to do with the physical dangers of the drugs.  If the scheduling of drugs was the direct result of the health concerns then meth and cocaine wouldn't be schedule II.
