I heard that if you drink salt water it will make you throw up. Has anyone else heard of that? If its true how much salt do you pour in the water? Don't ask why either

You have to drink a hell of a lot.

If this is for a purge, there are far more effective ways. It's a silly thing to do.

My sister dumped about a half a cup of salt into my moms glass of water.
She was out working in the garden and it was hot so she took a huge drink.
She was throwing up all day.
So yeah its true >.<

I laughed at this.

It should make you throw up as your body cant handle too much salt in one go so it attempts to reject it.

if you are doing this to purge, you would be better to just stick your fingers down your throat.
Salt water CAN make you throw up but it takes a hell of a lot and chances are your not gonna get the right amount and it just wont work.
Salt dehydrates you and so dose purging... so if you add them 2 together, your fucked

i guess it would if there was a lot in it but i wouldn't do that to yourself.
salt has calories in it too, and it also makes you gain weight because you have to drink more in order fr your body to absorb it.
