It's a weird fucking thing it doesn't even look like a pipe, maybe made out of something else, the end of it is like closed with holes in it. I've never seen anything like it before. But I don't see what else it could be used for.

Yea I've seen quite a few pieces myself. So does it seem like just an odd-looking one he bought or do you think it was actually homemade?
Nah it looks like it's somewhat pre-made. Although the end of it screws off. But usually pipes have a bowl at the end and you kinda have to light it upside down. But this thing has on one end a mouth piece, and on the other an appendage with holes on the top and bottom and it seems to clamp open and shut. I guess you would light it through the metal or something? I don't really know.

Well, it's possible some older kid might have sold it to him as a pipe and swindled him, but they're not very easy to come by in the states, so I dunno... haha. This is really amusing. I would be interested to know why he has it if hes not drinking mate. Also, they come in lots of diffrent styles and shapes, google bombilla and see what you find.
