As far as piercings go, I have my monroe, tongue, and bellybutton twice. I used to have my cheeks pierced (both sides), but they had to come out.

As soon as I have the money, I'm planning on getting a tattoo of a phoenix on my side. I want it to extend from my ribs to my hip. I'm not quite sure how I want it to look yet, but I would definitely like for the face to look something like this:

Id love a tattoo. Not sure what tho. I got my ears pierced first when i was 6, the next lot when i was about 12, and my nose pierced at 14. Im now nearly 16 and cant wait to get my next... That bit at the top of your nose, between eyebrows. Not sure what its called

so many of my friends are randomly deciding to get piercings recently and its really pissing me off...a few weeks ago i mentioned how i was gonna get my nipple done and my friend's room mate was disgusted and then this week she's telling me about how she's getting it done saturday..most of them dont even know the names of the piercings,the proper jewerally to wear or the risk involved.its like they're trying to upstage me and have more piericngs than me >:(

Could someone please explain to me how piercings are a way of expressing yourself? I'm not quite clear. They're hardly a fucking art form.

Why, because they're not drawn or painted? I don't see how they're not an "art form" - your body is the canvas, and you're modifiying it with strategically placed holes, then wearing something nice in them.
