ok i seriously need to sort myself out, it feels as if im slowly killing all of my insides one at a time. i am constantly tired, however much sleep i get, i constantly feel like shit and have no energy. im eating way to much junk food, some days i wont have meals and just binge on stuff like chrisp sandiwches and chocolate and im fed up of it. i just cant find the power to do it, i really cant, ive tried so many times, the longest its lasted is a week. ive tried not buying chrisps and such in the house, but i always seem to get money and go over the shop which is across the road. i really need some serious boost to help me do it, what can i do? is there anyone to help me? is it worth going to the doctor about? im no where near overweight, but i eat so much crap i dont get no vitamins or anything, i dont do muych excercise apart from in school and im just fed up withmyself so much!

It's definitely worth going to the doctor for. You deserve a better life than that darling : ) There's a lot of medical explanations for what you're experiencing, and most of them are quite fixable ^__^ Set up an appointment~

Hey, calm down! :-) If you feel comfortable talking to your doctor, you do that. It doesn't matter if you're not overweight - prevention is better than cure! Try and get the support of your friends and family. Ask them to try and go healthy with you - you'll get more support that way. They say we are our own worst critics, but when it comes to keeping promises, it's the people around you. They'll help you change your ways. I think that instead of trying to go 'cold turkey', you could cut out things a little at a time. Maybe stay off chocolate for one day only, and then go back to it the next. Then after a while, do two days. Then three. Then a week. You can get used to it slowly, and start introducing new things into your diet at the same time, so it's not such a complete turnaround and you'll be less tempted to give up and binge. In terms of 'not liking healthy foods', you can always try new things. Buy exotic fruit juices or make smoothies. There's some fun stuff here that might appeal. Good luck!
------- Down is the other direction.

Wow, I really wish I could have read this about a week ago, I would have printed it out and taken it to my therapist to explain how I felt about everything. Look, your diagnosis is easy -- you're obviously very depressed. I would see two doctors: a psychiatrist and a therapist (if you need a referral from your doctor first, then go ahead & be open). You need to remember that you're not going to be like this forever. It's true that right now life is a little difficult, but that's all that it is -- a difficult period. When you get up from every fall you really are stronger. You've basically fallen down, and now you need to help yourself get up. You don't have to do this alone, but you have to make the first move. Go see the doctors, and most importantly, remember that you won't be like this forever, you will get out of this and you will be ok. :) Edit: Oops I forgot to add something! About the junk food thing, I had EXACTLY the same problem. Part of it was just that I had given up, I didn't care anymore, and didn't have the energy to diet / stop eating junk. It was at the point where I would eat like 6 candy bars a day, and nothing else. I'm sure once you get help this problem will go away, my psychiatrist said it was a result of depression.
