All I can really say is learn all you can about coding, the internet, software, hardware, networking, and pretty much everything else that has to do with computers.  Once you know enough, you will sort of just know how to hack by yourself.

There's no step-by-step guide for it.

You need to get a VERY good understanding for how th einternet works. And Networks. that is essential. After that i would seriously look into learning how to script in at least 2 languages preferably python and c. Finnaly head for sites like this http://www.governmentsecurity.org <---- blessing, taught me some of the best exploits I know. Finally learn how to talk to hackers without cominmg off as an idiot, it can really help you.
