While some of his points hold some truth by a far off standard, his connection to scientology and horrible lack of debate skills as well as lack sources to back up his statements are disgusting. I myself find most of the psychiatric profession to be outright stupid and horrible, but he is merely an embarrasment to those who intelligently oppose psychiatry. If he actually had a brain and thought about what he said, he could really do a great deal of good, but god, I can't stand that guy.
