Powergirl I do want to say that while whoisabs first entered this thread with a direct quote - you did not counter that quote with anything factual but proceeded to change the scope from education within the US (the studies and reports) the the scope of the world.

It would be like me saying boys need extra attention in schools in the US because in sub-saharan Africa there are boys not being educated.  That makes as much sense as you claiming that the goal of (some) in changing the direction of education is related at all to women in a different part of the world being forbidden an education.
