I know, it's early in the morning, and no one is going to be bothered to help me with my god damn homework.

But please. Please help me.

I'm sure there's an obvious answer, but I just don't get it, science isn't my strongest point.

Q. The cells in Johns skin each contain 46 chromosomes. State how many chromosomes you would expect to find in Johns:

-Sperm

-White blood cells

-Children's white blood cells

Thank you so much

I think 23 or 46 is the likely answer to the rest, but I'm not sure and sperm is definitely 23.

Sperm will have 23 chromosomes. White blood cells should have 46 chromosomes (two pairs of 23 chromosomes) in both cases, unless I'm missing something.

I think the only exception you'd need to know (besides sex cells) is mammalian erythrocytes (red blood cells).  They are anucleate, and hence, have no nucleus or chromosomes.
