Can you parents not co-sign for you???? If you are going to a community college, it can't be that much a year!! I went to a community college for 3 years and my tuition was $800 a semester. Did you file a FAFSA??? Even though your parents make that amount, you should always file a FAFSA just to be on the safe side. Good luck!!! =D

You should be able to get the loan through a local bank. The bank will be your cosigner. Also your origination fee will be 0% if you do it through Commerce or Bank of America. I suggest going through the bank. They do a great job or guiding you through the process.

What about the financial aid or just plain financial office at the community college? Have you asked them what options they have for student loans? You might not need a co-signer for a student loan, but I'm not really sure.
