Right now I feel so unwanted and unimportant, I have my great friends but I just feel crappy, like I'm waiting for my turn in life like fucking always. I don't put all of me out for everyone to see, because I am scared and the other part I don't know. I am very sensitive and when I was younger I had weird experiences at school and felt out of place and I think I had panic attacks or something and any little thing that was troubling really would get to me. I would say I am better off than I think just inside a scared little girl. I think the reason why I feel like I don't get enough attention from people is cause I don't give myself a chance for people to even have a place for me. But what if people don't like me? That is a thing I'm scared of. I just want to be this cool person and need to learn to love myself. I reallly just don't know how to do that. Then I start college tomorrow and I'm nervous for that. I feel like a sad pathetic little girl and it's time to really find myself and actually show it for once so I get a life cause it makes me really edgy and annoyed at everything. I don't get what my problem is.

just try to feel more confident, smile, go hang with your friends, or better yet try to meet new people who dont know who you are so you feel more confident within yourself

Wow this is amazing, I use to feel the same way all the time and use to have panic attacks in elementary school. The best advice to give you is that people like people who like them selfs.. If you dont give a crap what anyone thinks or says about you .. people will like that.  I use to think I was the person just watching everything happen and nothing happen to me. Then in grade 8 I came out of my shell, I made new friends even a boyfriend... if you dont worry about it there's nothing to worry about. Message me anytime.

Firstly. You are not unwanted. I am sure somewhere someone always wants to talk to you, just share general chit-chat. Ask for advice, or even help you. I'm sure a few of those are on LW.

Never feel unloved.. I know that's incredibly easy to say, but I went through a stage thinking  that. It's incredibly heartbreaking and you feel like you're all alone, yes? You need to take some time out and think about why you feel like this. Your mother/father (I don't know your famiyl situation) will no douobt love you - your siblings if you have them. Even if they do not show it!

If you feel like you're still waiting for your turn in life, go ahead and do whatever you've been waiting to do. Take hold and steer your life in the direction you want... don't disregard others, but count yourself as slightly more important as to be put first - even if this is only for a short time.

Yes, you do need to learn to love yourself. Why should it matter what other people think? It mattered to me until very recently. Those that don't like the "real" you are not worth your time, or effort. They should take you for who you are or leave it, after all is is better to be hated for who you are than liked for who you are not.

As for college - just take in the surroundings. Evaluate people before jumping in head first. You need to be comfortable in yourself before being comfortable around others.

Hope this helps PM if you want to talk!

To the world you may be just someone, but to someone you may be the world - don't give up. As soon as you do your ship will sail by. Everyone gets down and has feelings of unimportance sometimes, but you can get through that knowing that a brighter future awaits you if you stand up straight, raise your chin, and smile for a bit.
