Who are we as Support Leaders to determine if someone really needs help or not. If you feel that they were made out of spite don't reply to them and leave them alone. For all you know that person could be serious and to me they seem legit and I don't see any bloody reason for them to be removed. I am tired of you power hungry support leaders removing what in my opinion are perfectly legit ehelp request.
I don't like your tone in your post. I am not, by no means, a "power-hungry" support leader. I applied for the position to be a support leader for a reason: to help fellow teens and peers with issues and problems that I have gone through, and you calling me a "power-hungry" support leader hurts my feelings. I put deep thought into every one of my eHelp responses, and by you threatening me like that is just utter arrogance. I have done NOTHING to those eHelp requests. That's why I decided to start a topic in this forum asking for help because, obviously, I have never encountered such a problem before. I may be new to LiveWire and a be a new support leader, but there is no justification on WHY you had to call me a power hungry support leader. I'm sorry, but your post ticked me off so much, I had to reply. (Edited by timize at 8:29 pm on June 30, 2006)
I apologise for my tone in that post, but I am honestly tired of replying to perfectly legit ehelps and by the time I hit send reply, I get the error message saying that the ehelp has been removed. This sort of thing discourages one from replying to ehelps. BTW none of my post targeted anyone.

Maybe Davjs, should make it to where 3 Support Leaders can vote it off but at least one Moderator has to agree... more like over rule it.

LW's worked fine with mods deleting eHelps up until now, I don't see why anything had to change. It's only being abused.

The problem is, who are we to call something an emergency? Who are we to say what is and is not an emergency in someone's life? Sure, some things are not die hard emergencies, but as long as it is not complete B.S., don't vote it off! I think we should make a definition a lot more elaborate on what Ehelp is, and the different situations, and scenarios there are. For instance if someone makes an Ehelp about them never being able to orgasm, when having sex with their boyfriend. That could effect someone mentally, and physically. Therefore, it seems to be an emergency. They could be thinking they can lose their boyfriend, never enjoy sex again, and other things.
