ok i have a problem...for about a couple of years since i was in highschool i didnt really have trouble making friends..its just that when i get a friend and we get closer, exchanging numbers and everything, then i would start to pull away..i've been doing this for a long time now..i would get into a group of friends and then i would start ignoring them not calling or wanting to meet up with them..it just seems like for some reason i'm scared to have friends..like i'm scared they might not like me once they get to know me more..i dont know why i'm like this, maybe it's because i'm a shy kinda quiet person..then when i pull away from them, then i start to feel lonely

OMG. I have the same exact problem. But I'm working on making it better. I think what you might need to do is give things a chance with new friends and dont automatically assume they wont like you. let them get to know you so they can make their own opinion.

I have the same problem, but I'm starting to wonder if being alone hurts more than being stabbed in the back.

I think its just a confidence issue. I had something similar, but you just gotta be comfortable enough with yourself that you can have the mindset that almost anybody you meet will like you if you just be yourself
