Making him suffer would do nothing more than anger his supporters, give America another reason to be attacked by anti-America terrorist orginizations, and extend this whole ordeal to an unnecissary length.

This is terribly flawed logic. How is killing someone better than putting him in jail lifetime, in terms of angering his followers? Making him a MARTYR is better than just keeping him in jail? Right.

Killing him is better than torturing and keeping him in prison because he clearly is deservant of death for him crimes, and by America just keeping him alive would be just another way to "make an example" of the evil Mr. Hussein, which would just anger his followers.

And he does not deserve death any more than most leaders around the world. Treason, last I checked, still means death, in most countries.

Anyhow, imprisonment is never more offensive to anyone than execution, particularly in this case, and the mere notion that it would be for his supporters is ridiculous and has no logical basis. You can eventually free an imprisoned man. A dead man, however, is a martyr, someone whose blood was spilled for his righteousness and his fight for the cause. History agrees with me here.
