And the referrals arent even working for me anyways. Can we PLEASE just take that off the checklist to:
A) Shut everyone up, and
B) Make me happy?

In case it isn't apparent already, maybe there should be a poll to find out who thinks the referral thing is shit.

- some don't have 3 friends
- most don't want their friends to know they use Livewire - the whole thing about LW is that it can be anonymous - and no, I won't just use ehelp whenever I want to say something I don't want my friends to see.
- none of us can force 3 people to join/verify emails.

This is going rather too far.

Second, I really don't want to have to go through all my old topics and either get them deleted or make them anonymous.

Normally I'm a fan of the changes made to LiveWire, but this is way too much. I understand the purpose, but there are other ways to get people on LiveWire without requiring it be done. LiveWire would probably benefit more from making donations mandatory, which people will agree, is an even worse idea.

From the FAQ:

For a referral to be considered "complete" the member you referred must:

1. Verify their email address

2. Not have already signed up for a LiveWire account using that email address
