The referring is too much, in my opinion.

First of all, there's the whole "anonymity" of the Internet. A ton of people on here don't refer friends for that specific reason; members talk about their friends in real life on this site, and if they referred them, the whole anonymity thing would be blown.

Plus, it's just a huge hassle to wait and wait and wait for people to verify their email address. One friend I referred has been on here for a while now, and still hasn't verified her email.
