Why is it that every single time I answer an e-help, it stops flashing? It is sometimes the first reply, but still

Seriously, what's the deal? I thought it had to be 3 replies (was it?).

Also, I may as well ask about how the e-helps get structured in terms of who's reply is placed the highest. Did anyone figure out why that is?

Once you answer an eHelp, it is considered read for you.  It's not going to keep flashing for something you already answered.

Also, the order is determined by member id, which is in turn determined by the date the members joined, from oldest to newest.

It stops because you have already answered it. It doesn't stop for any of the others SLs until they answer it themselves. Is that what you were asking? lol.

*Shrug* to the second question.

Does that mean that people who haven't answered that particular one will see it as remaining flashing?

Thanks man.

EDIT: Yeah, that's what I was asking ^

Yes, it will remain flashing for other Support Leaders until each request has three replies, even though it has stopped flashing for you.

In terms of structuring, isn't it just by who replied most recently?

A lot of times someone will reply just a second after yours and it can seem like you had the most recent reply but in fact, someone else hit "Add Reply" a second after you did making their post go above yours.

Could be wrong though.

Pengy explained. It's done by member id, therefore join date. So oldest first, newest last.

Ah, that explains why I'm 99% at the top, but there have been a couple replies above mine. (I guess it'd probably be more confusing if you have a member ID more in the middle though).
