Nerves about Returning to School

Even though I'm going to be a junior in college, where I have a fairly defined (if small) group of friends, and whrere I've done very well academically, I'm nervous about returning.  Part of it I know is a feeling that I'll have to prove myself again in an entirely new set of classes, and acquaint myself with the inevitable influx of new people into my life (on my floor, in clubs etc.).  Anyone have any remedies for this, or for nerves in general?

Second that.  I'm a sophmore this year, and I'm having the same nerves you are.  It feels good to know that I'm not the only one.

I'm a freshman this year in college, so my advice may or may not be helpful-

Just go through with it- actually doing stuff tends to get in the way of worrying about it, regardless of what "it" is, whether it be new classes or climbing up a rock face without ropes.

Don't set too high expectations for yourself. You are probably pushing youself too hard academically. Slow down a bit, don't forget you are an intelligent person so you'll be able to grasp new concepts quite easily. Spend more time socialising, join a club of interest to you. I'm sure you'll get on fine, think positive. How bad can it get and don't let other people(e.g. how talented, disinterested they look like) get to you.
