biggest friggin misconception about pop i've ever heard

aspertame is not toxic to humans unless they're phenylketonurics, because it produces phenylalanine, which most humans can break down easily and quickly, but for phenylketonurics it can cause minor headaches... its no big deal... i do have to agree with the other stuff though for the most part

Buying soda in school is stupid for the following reasons:

1. It's expensive (add up how much you spend per month)
2. It makes you thirsty (as all sugar filled drinks do)
3. It leads to diabetes and obesity
4. Diet sodas contain aspartame which is toxic to humans
5. It encourages states to reduce school funding when the school receives "outside funding" from soda sales
6. It makes you hyperactive and less able to concentrate in class

1. $15? for a month? thats almost nothing
2. Not me, and besides, what else am I soposed to drink? I quit drinking from water fountins ever since my science teacher told me about them.
3. I have a high metablism so it's geneticly imposble to get me fat
4. I don't drink diet. it tastes like shit
5. never knew that..
6. wrong. it helps me stay up a tiny bit more in class...

yes really. I have a friend that died from diabetes. You can get diabetes from soda, you get fat, which also gives you diabetes.. lol and when there is less school funding, less students get the help they need, and the less students that get the help they need, the more students that become hopeless bumbs and end up committing suicide. see?

Most kids like sodas because of the taste, and they won't drink water when eating their lunch, as personally water takes away the taste from your food, so a lightly flavored fruit beverage would be great.
