Hi everyone. It's been quite awhile since I've been on here. Has anyone been listening to the news lately? I live in Mo. There have been violent tornadoes that have ripped through our state- my town, and destroyed everything in its path. It happened this last Thurs. evening while I was at work!

No fatalities or anyone seriously injured-fortunately. Anyways, of course we lost electricity. Little did I know how bad the tornadoes would manifested itself. We lost electricity for the next 3 days. Not only was it soo.. ungodly hot inside  (my house like around 120) the heat was also unbearable outside.

Hotels were booked everywhere. Nothing was available. My mom and I would just drive around for hours just to stay cool. Luckily, we did have cooling centers provided for the public. So word of advice- always appreciate the small things in life. Like running water!  I've never been faced with a disaster like that. Hopefully, I won't ever have to experience anything like that again.

Oh, that's really unfortunate. Glad everyone is okay, though. :)
