Well, if you go AMD you better get that new 64 bit core.  I would wate until the summer for the pentium if you are going to get it, they are supposedly putting the finishing touches on their latest core...

Rumors only though.  But, either one should be okay, but, if you are into overclocking i would go AMD, (not that i have had a lot of success with them, i have burnt two of them) but they can handle i higher core voltage the pentiums.  Not to mention Pentiums come rather maxed out anyway.

Haha. I don't know that much about building them though, just what I need. I don't know what's good and what's not. Except for the processor and a little about videocards.

I never understood why Linux is so great.  If your a programmer, it's great for theory implementation.  It's second to none for server applications, and networking.

I've installed three different versions of Linux five separate times, across two machines, and every time, it's crashed my system.  That's about the only reliability I -- personally -- have derived from Linux.  Fuck 'em... if Linux was so much better than Windows at everything, WINE wouldn't be necessary.

Mac OS X, v10.3.1..

I'll be moving back to 10.2.8, as it was a tad more solid. 10.3 is faster, but comes with a bug or two, which irritate me.

I still use OS 9, for Virtual Game Station, to play old Playstation games....would have an OS X emulator...but Sony bought it out and crushed further development of the project
