My best friend's(A) mom just passed away, she was in a bad car wreck a few hours ago...I feel so sad and can't stop crying...I've not talked to A in a few months, we didn't have a fight, we just kinda drifted away, she used to be my roommate, but then moved back home to her parents(about 10 hours away)...Then because of shit I was going thru, I took it out on her we just drifted apart...I feel so bad I don't know how to help her...I'd drive down there right now if I thought she'd want me there...

well, i think if you realy wanted to drive down there just go and do it. she may be apprehensive at first but i think it may ease the issue if you apologize for your actions and then precede to tell her that you knew you needed to be here for her and that no matter what yo uare always there. i think she'll come around....and at any rate, i have a feeling she'll be happy to see you. having someone familiar and close to you is always nice to have in times like these instead of being surrounded by family. good luck hunny and god bless. *hugs* PM me if you wanna chat further :)

Can you call first and send your regards, and maybe get a feel for if she'd want you to come visit? I think that she would probably appreciate it. If you guys just drifted away and don't have anything negative between you I dont see why she would not be happy that you are caring about her, unless she is just wanting to be alone.

I know when my father passed away I just wanted to be alone...I just talkd to another friend of ours and she had talked to A, she'd mentioned going down there, we talked and we are going to probably leave in the morning...
