Mel's Afternoon Snack..

Ok..this is one of the easiest things you can make... but it is soo good.

Ingredients:
1 bagel (when you cut the bagel there will be two parts..lol)
Cream Cheese
A tomato
Pepper

Get a plate and spread the cream cheese on the bagel. Stick it in the microwave for about 30 seconds. Then slice the tomato and put the slices on the bagel. Add pepper if desired.

Yummy!!!

Hot pepper cheesy blast
Take one can of hot peppers(any kind will do). Then take out a frying pan. Pour hot peppers in pan. Set on low heat. Move peppers around the pan slowly. Add other spices now if you wish. Add Tobasco sauce to it. Then sprinkle Italian bread crumbs on it. Now add chedder cheese to it. Cook until melted. Probably 5 min. You can dip it in sour cream! Great for parties!

I love to bake. This is ez, but has a lot. it is soooo good.
Apple Coffee Cake with Crumble Topping and Brown Sugar Glaze
Cake:
1 stick plus 2 teaspoons unsalted butter
1 1/2 cups packed light brown sugar
2 large eggs
2 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
2 cups peeled, cored and chopped apples
Crumble Topping:
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

Brown Sugar Glaze:
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons water

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease a 13 by 9-inch glass baking dish with 2 teaspoons of the butter.
In a large bowl, cream together the remaining stick of butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs 1 at a time, beating after the addition of each. In a separate bowl or on a piece of parchment, sift together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Add to the wet ingredients, alternating with the sour cream and vanilla. Fold in the apples. Pour into the prepared baking dish, spreading out to the edges.

To make the topping, in a bowl, combine the sugar, flour, cinnamon, and butter, and mix until it resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle the topping over the cake and bake until golden brown and set, 35 to 40 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool on a wire rack for at least 10 minutes.

To make the glaze, in a bowl, combine the sugar, vanilla, and water and mix until smooth. Drizzle the cake with the glaze and let harden slightly. Serve warm.

ingrediants: butter
                 bread
                 jam

first take two slices of bread
butter the bread
then you put the jam on the nife and wipe it on the
bread.

and that is how you make a jam sandwich

Neapolitan Toasts: Crostini Napoletani

16 slices crusty bread, baguette size, or 8 slices country loaf size
3 cloves garlic
2 cups fresh ricotta
2 tablespoons freshly ground black pepper
3 tablespoons chopped fresh oregano
16 anchovy fillets, fresh marinated or salt packed, spines removed and fillets rinsed
3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

Preheat the broiler.

Place the sliced bread on a cookie sheet, toast to light golden brown on both sides, and remove. While still hot, rub each slice with a garlic clove.

In a small bowl, mix the ricotta and black pepper, and spread some of the mixture over each slice of bread. Top each with an anchovy fillet and replace onto the cookie sheet. Place under broiler until the cheese just oozes, about 1 minute, remove, place onto a serving platter, drizzle with the oil and serve.

Cheers!

Cottage cheese, normal cheese, parsely and red onion.  Seperate, it tastes like crap.  Together, a wonderful thing....

Um... it goes on bread or crackers or something.  I dont know.  My mum makes it and its nice.
