Well, my favorite recipe is those cookies that come in a roll and all you have to do is slice them. LOL! But when I'm feeling more domestic, I like to make cookies from scratch...

I found this recipe online and liked it, so this is what i use if i make them from scratch:

INGREDIENTS:
1 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/3 cup white sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups milk chocolate chips

DIRECTIONS:
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside.

In a medium bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until smooth. Beat in the egg and vanilla. Gradually stir in the sifted ingredients, then stir in the chocolate chips. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

REALLY YUMMY COOKIES!!!
chocolate chip MUST TRY!

3/4 cup Butter
1/4 cup Lard
1 cup White Sugar
1 cup Brown Sugar
2 Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla
2 cup Unbleached Flour
2 1/2 cups Oatmeal (thoroughly blended)
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Baking Powder
12 oz  Milk Chocolate Chips (one bag)
4-6oz Finely Grated Chocolate Bar
1 1/2 cup Chopped nuts (very optional)

HOW TO MAKE IT!

First some note on the ingredients. The oatmeal should be run though a blender until it is very fine. The chocolate bar that you need to grate is the kind you buy to eat on the way home from the grocery store, use your favorite, but you will need to buy a pretty big one. Chocolate also grates easier if it is nice and cold.
For the recipe, start out by creaming the butter and lard (you can vary the ratio of these a little) with the sugars. Add in the eggs and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda, salt, baking powder, and oatmeal, then mix it into the batter. Thoroughly mix in the grated chocolate bar, then add in the chocolate chips (and nuts if you like.)
Bake as usual, at about 375 degrees for roughly 10 minutes depending on the size of your cookies.

AND EAT THEM ALL IN ONE GO!!!

I made a cake in the microwave once! It turned out better than I expected! Don't have the recipe on me right now, but may post it later.

Feta-Stuffed Chicken

INGREDIENTS:
3 ounces feta cheese, crumbled
1/4 cup julienned marinated sun-dried tomatoes (optional)
1-1/2 teaspoons unsalted butter
1/2 teaspoon minced dried rosemary
 Freshly ground pepper to taste
1 (3-1/2- to 4-pound) chicken, back removed and
 cut into quarters
 Coarse salt to taste
1 Tablespoon olive oil
1/2 cup dry white wine
1/2 cup reduced-sodium chicken broth
18 small unpitted olives, such as picholine, kalamata
 or catalan
1 Tablespoon unsalted butter

TO PREPARE:
Mash the cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, 1-1/2 teaspoons unsalted butter, rosemary and pepper in a bowl with a fork until mixed.  Push the feta stuffing gently under the skin and spread evenly over the surface of the chicken except the wings; do not tear the skin.  Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Heat a deep ovenproof 10-inch skillet over medium heat for 2 minutes or until very hot.  Add the olive oil to the hot skillet.  Sear the chicken quarters skin side down for 4 minutes per side or until golden brown.  Place the chicken on a plate.  Drain the skillet.  Deglaze the skillet with the wine and broth, stirring to dislodge any browned bits on the bottom of the skillet.

Return the chicken skin side up to the skillet.  Add the olives.  Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until the juices run clear when the chicken is pierced with a fork.  Remove the chicken and olives to a heated platter with a slotted spoon, reserving the pan juices.

Bring the reserved pan juices to a boil over high heat.  Boil for 4 minutes or until thickened and reduced by 1/2, stirring frequently.  Whisk in 1 Tablespoon unsalted butter.  Pour over the chicken.  You may serve with bow tie pasta, rice or couscous, as the juices are delicious.

You may substitute 3 pounds chicken parts or 4 chicken breasts for the whole chicken.

SERVES:  4

Recipe for my favorite breakfast, eggs and floaters

ingredients:
-2 eggs (or however many you want)
-1 piece of bread
-butter
-pepper

put about 1 table spoon of butter into bown, nuke ituntil butter melts, let be. pop bread in toaster, let be. start boling the eggs. you want them SOFT BOILED, so that the outsde is cooked, but the yolk is still a bit goopy. I'd say about 4 1/5 min.. once their done boiling run them under cold water and break open the shell, scooping out the egg with a spoon, and chop it up with a knife in the bowl. take out toast and tear into small bite-sized pieces, and put in bowl. stire it all up and finish it with some pepper.

the idea is that the "floaters", or bread, will soak up some of that yummy yolk and butter.

it is deliceos and I highly recomend it! (why else would I put it here?!)

Was experimenting last night and combined a few moroccan recipes, at any rate, here it is:

1 large onion
2-3 cloves garlic
4 chicken breasts cut into cubes
4 tomatoes
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp coriander
2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1 tbsp parsley
pinch of saffron dissolved in water (optional)

some salt and some pepper

Pretty much, stick the onion, garlic, parsley, tomatoes and spices in the food processor for a bit, put them in a pot with oil and stir for a while untill they seem somewhat cooked, then add water and the chicken and saffron and cook untill the chicken is cooked.

Then serve with rice or pasta or whatever else you want to serve it with.
It might also taste good if you add cheese when serving, I didnt try it though (because I forgot).

Could probably add other herbs too, basil could be interesting, or thyme.
