Orange Julius

2/3 cup orange juice concentrate
1 cup water
1 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup powdered sugar
6  ice cubes (approx 1 1/2 cups ice)

Put all ingredients into the blender and blend until smooth. Makes about 2 servings.
I just made this and it tastes so good!

Giant Reeses Peanut Butter Cups

2 cups powdered sugar
1 cup peanut butter
2 cups (1 package) graham crackers
2 sticks of butter
1 package of chocolate chips

Mash up the graham crackers inside a plastic bag (make sure they are completely mashed) and mix together with peanut butter, powdered sugar, and butter. Melt the chocolate chips in a bowl in the microwave, stirring them after until they are completely melted. Spoon one layer of the melted chocolate onto cupcake baking cups. Spoon a layer of the peanut butter mixture on top of the chocolate. Take the rest of the chocolate and spoon a layer on top of the peanut butter mixture. Refrigerate for about 1-3 hours. The outside should be hard and the inside should be soft and chewy.

Here's a nice one for all the vegetarians out there.

Ingredients:

2 (10 inch) whole wheat tortillas
1 (7.5 ounce) package hickory flavor baked tofu
1/2 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1 cup fresh baby spinach
1 tablespoon Ranch dressing
1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese, or to taste

Directions:

  1. Place the tortillas side by side on a paper plate. Slice tofu, and place slices down the center of each tortilla. Sprinkle cheese over the tofu. Cover with a damp paper towel, and heat in the microwave for about 45 seconds, or until cheese is melted.
  2. Pile some spinach onto each tortilla, and pour on some Ranch dressing. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, roll tortillas around the filling, and eat.

Happy non-animal killing eating!

Crisp Garlic Wedges:

4 rounds pita bread
150g butter, melted
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2/3 cup grated parmesan cheese

Split bread rounds in half, cut into large wedges. Place split side up on oven trays. Brush with combined butter and garlic, sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Bake in moderately hot oven for about 8 minutes or until lightly browned and crisp.

Hope you enjoy!

Ive sort of amalgamated a couple moroccan recipes, and altered them a fair bit, and come up with this:

Ingredients:
1. Enough chicken for 4 people
2. one teaspoon of cumin
3. one tablespoon of paprika
4. 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of chilli powder (or to taste)
5. 1 to 3 tablespoons of fresh parsely
6. two garlic cloves
7. one onion
8. three to four tomatoes or one tin of tomatoes
9. one teaspoon of salt

Instructions:
1. Finely chop onion, garlic, parsely and tomato (or use the food processor)
2. Place chopped onion, garlic and tomato in a large pot on low heat
3.  Add spices
4. Chop chicken into largish bite sized pieces, and place in the pot
5. It is ready when the chicken is cooked all the way through, and the mixture tastes good

And serve with rice and grated cheese.

And other spices can be added if you want, coriander seed would go quite well, or one bay leaf, or any other spices that you feel might go with it.

What the hell is this "Velveeta" cheese I keep hearing about? I am not accustomed to this cheese-related product...and I am not sure I wish to be. Can somebody explain, please?

its a more expensive cheese and its like smoother than regular cheese.. its really good :)

This is a nice Oriental and vegetarian recipe I found on a Buddhist website I go to.

Laksa

Three Main Steps:

1. Making the base
2. Making the curry
3. Finish it off

Base

To begin making Laksa, some basic ingredients are need, these are:

-Vegetable Oil

-Garlic, crushed
-Chili Powder
-Chilis, sliced (red or green)
-Curry powder

You can add other ingredients such as :

-Coriander

-Shallot, 2 or 3

Begin heating the vegetable oil in a wok. Throw in the onion slices and the garlic and stirl well. After stirring, add the chili powder, the curry powder, the chilis and the other ingredients you like and stir again.

Curry
