Well, I'm using the Aston Shell program and I'm trying to edit a theme I got, to customize it.  It came with buttons to files I don't have/use so I'm trying to go in and edit the buttons to fit my desktop.

Anyway, here's the question.  All of the animations I want to edit are in .ank format, but I have no idea what program runs them.  Or if I even need to go into it to work it.  Help anyone?

This topic is pretty old, but I'm just going to reply just for the sake of it.

This website should help you out:
ttp://www.astonshell.com/aston/tutorial/resources.html

It states that:
- ANK files are ordinary text files renamed to *.ANK.
- You can edit ANK files with any Notepad-like application or by using Aston GUI (click the plus button when editing object properties)
