K. I've got this problem with my computer.

Last night I was looking at porn, which I know is bad for your computer (But what self respecting 16 year old guy doesn't look at porn??) and I came down with some kind of wicked ass spyware/virus on my computer. It's bad. It started as my computer lagging really bad (which isn't normal) then my computer crashed. Now it won't even boot into safe mode, or normal mode. The desktop shows up, but no icons show or the start menu bar thing. I can pay for it to get repaired, but I would rather get help fixing it for free so the computer people don't have to see my stuff.

Anyone know a way to fix this?

i can send you a cracked virus-free version o Zone Alarm, which is a powerful anti-virus. But then, if it's that dead, i'd just reinstall windows...

HOw are you online now if your computer won't boot?

option a) try putting in the windows cd and reinstalling over the old copy, then delete all yoru software and reinstall, but yoru files shoudl be safe

option b) take out the hard drive, put it into another computer.

ensure the other computer is virus protected, and is no more than a basic operating system, no access to internet etc etc.

save the files you want and format the disc, reinstall windows

Porn's fine to look at on the computer, just stay away from suspicious sites. Use torrents or something if you really want to look at stuff safely.

Try downloading the trial for Kaspersky, it should take care of it, make sure to do a complete system scan (it'll take awhile, but it finds everything). Oh, and make sure to let it update before running the scan.

Well at least you say you have computerSS you can always try taking your infected hard drive out of the computer and put it on the other computer and run anti virus software on the computer with infected virus this should at least fix the infected hard drive to improve and put it back in the computer that was infected try doing some more scans on it and do spy-ware scans. Remember you would be a lot more safer if you are disconnected from the Internet on the infected computer which there may be some backdoors in the computer registry that needs to be deleted. While when you are scanning for viruses or spy-ware take some time looking at this website http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ download cwshredder which this is a small freebie tool that helps fight deep infected files(not all). Also go download hijackthis from http://www.hijackthis.de/ once you load the program DONT MESS AROUND WITH IT IF YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING WITH IT. Follow what i say to be safe. Click on "Do a system scan and save logfile" when a notepad pops up and loaded with alot of stuff on it, highlight it all and PM me the log file. I will tell you what you need to delete. After when you finish the hijackthis process. Please boot up in safe mode and do another anti-virus scan on the computer to make sure the virus is gone for good.
