My roommate, shes never in our room. She used to talk to me quite a bit but now she doesn't speak to me, except last night she said, 'can you turn that down' because apparently Enya was a little too loud (I was trying to sleep over the noise in the hall). I tried to make the room look nice, and my mom even brought some fadeless paper for our bulletin board behind our beds, and she said she wanted some, so we measured it out for her side as well, but put up my side and left hers pinned up. Well, it's been two weeks and she just left it rolled up and pinned up, not caring!!
She's quite poor, so I paid for our microfridge payment(we rent them every year) and I bought the TV, as well as the DVD player. She brought the CD player, however it's broken so it's just collecting dust!! I have a laptop, and she has no computer, so she uses mine, but I mean, I use mine A LOT...she's pretty sneaky with it, whenever I log on, I notice she had gone on facebook or something, like she always goes on when I leave. She won't even talk to me anymore and she comes in at 12-2 am, and just does what she needs to do to get ready for bed and thats it! Comes in for her books, for food, and to sleep....goes home every single solitary weekend....It's kinda lonely, cause I'll try and be friendly sometimes and talk to her, but she won't even respond, she'll just ignore me now.
I was excited for fall break, as I haven't been home since august, and she just said, 'another weekend at home' like she's completely monotone as well....it just sucks!! gahhhh

wow..i would put your computer settings on to private and make it impossible to log on unless the user knows the password..and tell her that she can go and use the school's library...and stop being so nice...but don't deliberately do anything mean either...she will get whats coming..and it really sounds like she is using you..... don't let her drive you crazy..and no you are not alone....thats why i live at home...haha..college dorms suck at my school..wait thats at basically every college..haha good luck on dealing with her..

No problem about her never being there. The main thing you don't want to do in college is stay cooped up in your room all day. She's probably out socializing and meeting new people out side the dorm (its what I do too, since I don't like my antisocial dorm/roommates). It is rude that she won't talk to you though (which my suitemates do too which sucks)

so just an update but it's not a problem anymore cause she's not my roommate anymore!! in fact i transfered soooo now i'm REALLY happy! :)
