You know, I don't have the article, and can't remember any details. But there is a culture that doesn't have any concept of a spirit after death. You know how many gost sightings they have? Zero.

There's too many factors for that to really be considered evidence of anything other than the fact that they have no concept of a spirit after death.

I think that not ghosts as such, but the energy of what used to be a person that still exists for a certain peirod of time.

I believe in ghosts, but not like the movies ghosts. Not like Casper or anything like that but in more subtle ways.

I don't believe in ghosts. But I believe the stories of people seeing them. Its all in your head, you start believing your thoughts. Its more like you start imagining about them when you constantly think about them.

I've yet to make up my mind.

Look at it this way. Humans are made up of energy. When we die that energy has to go somewhere. Where does it go? If it disappates out into the atmosphere, who are we to say that it doesn't stay clumped together as a "ghost"?

So much more study needs to happen on this before I will make up my mind.

Then again, the town I grew up in has a ghost ship that I once pointed out to my mother (I was about 4). I haven't seen it since, and I hadn't known about it before then. So who knows!

No, I don't believe that there are such things as ghosts... what logical reason would there be for them being here? If there were, surely by now after all these years humans have existed we would actually know for certain if there definitely WAS ghosts?

Thats not true DefaultTo0. By that reasoning, we'd know if there was aliens, god, and tons of other things. New discoveries are made everyday.

Do I believe in ghost personally. Yea. Why? Because I believe that the amount of energy we have inside us cannot dissipate immediately. Perhaps we cannot go to rest until we complete something. If a person lives a full life, I don't think he/she would become a ghost.

The possibility exists, as there are definitely many things outside of our testable realm of understanding, but *shrugs* Far too many hoaxes out there for me to be more than skeptical at best.
