I've tried making it bigger. [72 pt. fnt.]
I've tried changing the color. [Lighter color.]
And everything else like those settings.
But it still won't show up when I type.
Anyone know?

1. Your text color is the same as your background layer.
2. Your background layer is in front of your text layer.

Highlight your text layer, go to "Layer > Arrange > Bring to front"

That happened to me too! I made the font the largest it could be (999) and it showed up as a 12 pt font. I don't know how I actually fixed it, but it worked fine the next time I opened photoshop.

Alright, I did what Roy told me to, and it still didn't work.  When I typed, nothing shows up.  It's almost like my keyboard is unplugged, or disconnected, but it's obviously not because I can type on everything else.  Any other ideas?  I mean, I know its not the same color as the background, because I've made a completely white page with black text, still nothing.  I'm getting frustrated, and I can't figure anything out.
