Everyone else that I've met has followed most of the 'rules' of meeting people online.  Stuff like meeting in public places, though me and one person met in a dark parking lot a little before we carpooled to a concert, and stay in somewhat public places.

I am not trying to be rude so sorry if I may sound it but people are told this all the time by their parents and still do it so what makes you think they are going to listen to you?

The fact is that a lot of teenagers have it in their head that nothing bad is ever going to happen to them and that they know what is best for them and what they can and can not do.
