How does the politic advertisements you see on television affect your vote or opinion on a candidate?

Personally, they do not affect me at all. I usually turn these ads off, as they are rubbish.

Please take the time to vote, it isn't that hard, I swear.

Do you feel that you are too influenced by the advertisements. There is a way to find out. You can easily search for the candidates websites, or you could look at this topic.

They don't influence me at all, they're just a bunch of propaganda from one side or the other, it doesn't mean anything.

They don't influence me at all. They either tend to over exaggerate their achievements or totally slam their opponents. It's all in bad taste, anyway.

So I usually rely on websites such as ontheissues.org to decide my vote.

They don't affect me at all.  Negative inaccurate ads turn me off a candidate.

Exactly what I was going to say. I mean, I tend to do research etc... before listening to the garbage being said on t.v. which most isn't true to begin with.

They don't influence me at all, because all they do is just say--"He's horrible and this guy is going to do this while I am going to lower taxes!" or "No, vote for me...I voted yes on this bill while Joe voted NO!"

Yet really all of these ads are just complete BS.

Political ads are propaganda. I hate them and ignore them as much as I can. All they do is bash the other to try to make themselves good. Not my cup of tea.

How I pick my candidate for whatever office, is by my own personal research. I do read opinion statements, as long as they're ridiculous too pro or whatever. But I prefer reading about what they have done already and so forth. It's like you're the one hiring someone for a position and you need to pick the best one one suitable to do the job the right way.

I tend to ignore them, I find them useless to the candidates just a waste of money. Oh, don't get me wrong I don't mind watching the ones that actually state what the person is running for, so if I did not know of them I can look them up. However, how many of those ads do you find now days? The tit-for-tat crap gets old.
