autism, it isn't just hard on the people who have it but the families too. (I know that all disabilities are like that) but for me personally it's hard to live with a younger brother with autism. the medicine costs a fortune and they're "mood swings" are just awful.

My sister has Autism and Epilepsy, it's rough for her everyday. For I grieve for her loneliness and how she's constantly being judged. I've seen so many words and acts of sheer ignorance, all of it just makes me sick to my stomach.

The lack of her to communicate properly and to not be able to make any friends at all kills me inside. She's such an intelligent beautiful girl, and it's a such a shame that there are no reasonable people where we live that can accept her for who she is.

I think Asperger's is overplayed on this forum, its honestly not that common. People just like to attribute themselves to it because a lot of its aspects are actually desirable.

And to those to claim they are medically diagnosed: To put it simply, I met my psychologist yesterday, and I could honestly get diagnosed with anything just by answering the stupid questionnaires and acting odd.
