As some of you know, the newest Advertising Manager is our very dedicated member iwashere85 (Alex).

Alex has not received a formal announcement of his promotion yet, as is customary for new managers despite his weeks of work on the team, so that the announcement could also contain information on the goings-on of Alex's Advertising Team

Shortly after Alex's induction, Ad Team member Ethryx successfully completed the LiveWire Yahoo! Widget which is now up and running.  Plans are currently in place for a Facebook application based on feedback regarding what features would best be suited for this project.

The most exciting event right now is the Advertising Contest which allows all members to earn rewards by creatively spreading the word about LiveWire through posters, videos, and/or a large number of referrals.  Please visit the topic to find out how you can participate.

If anyone with development skills would like to help develop a Windows Sidebar Widget, please contact iwashere85 to work out the details of the project and compensation.

Why do people assume that just because someone is in a manager position they only have the position of mod to go? It's not a race.

Just because someone, anyone, is good at their job as manager that doesn't reflect in the slightest their abilities as a moderator.
