The fact you just called me "obtuse" is "beyond the pale".

And like someone said before, an embryo is just a cluster of cells (just as sperm are).  Which is why in the United States you're not aloud to have an abortion after 22 weeks, because at that point a fetus can live on its own outside the womb.

I do not believe in abortion at all.  It is killing a potential baby, and ruining what life it could have.  Even though if the parent of the baby is a teenager, they should not kill a living thing, have the baby and then give it up for adoption.  Chances are (since it is a baby) that it will be adopted pretty quickly into a nice family and home.  Abortion is wrong on so many levels.  However, abortion should not be made against the law because it is the choice of the pregnant person whether to do it or not.  And if it is made illegal chances are that it is still going to happen/

Also... killing a potential baby?  So does that mean you shouldn't take birth control or use a condom when having sex?  Because when you do that you're letting your egg (a potential baby) go to waste.  That or you just believe that you should ONLY have sex when you're trying to conceive, which mean no sex for fun.

I am pretty much saying that you should not hacve "sex for fun" unless you're doing it with your Wife/Husband, because on the occasion that you do have a pregnancy, you don't need to think about abortion.

Im actually 15, not too bad, but I'm a helluva lot mature for my age than most 15 year olds, and I'm not saying it will be easy, but I'm saying that that is the best thing to do, in case you do end up having babies because of an accident during "fun sex" then you can make it easier.

I guess you now regret comparing a multicellular embryo with a complete genetic complement to a monocellular sperm  with only half a complete genetic complement, hmm? And veering off tracking by attacking strawmen?

Oh, and you're mostly wrong. A baby does have a brain prior to Week 22, it is just more primitive than the brain present at Week 22 (and beyond) which suggests that is most likely does not feel pain. Congrats on being at least partially correct, though. It makes a pleasant change from you being completely and utterly wrong.

The baby obviously has a brain, it's not like it's skull was completely empty.  I was trying to emphasis the fact that it's not mature enough to feel or live outside the womb until week 22.

Although we're arguing on this sensitive subject, I do know A LOT about being pregnant and fetal development.  

(Oh, and by the way, so far I pretty much agree with EVERYTHING you've said, I'm just trying to make a counter-argument, which obviously isn't working too well.)
