i dont know why ppl are saying im gonna die or get realli sick. yah it can happen but after a REALLY LONG TIME. like i said i already kno ppl who fast for much longer and who've been purging/fasting for many years. also im going on a liquid fast so i will be takin in something. i dont plan to do this until im disgustingly skinny. i think i have reasonable control over myself and can stop once i reach my goal weight
Just because other people do it and they look fine, doesn't mean that they are healthy on the inside.
Let's see... I fast for Ramadan, and I can't eat or drink while the sun is up. I still played sports, but made sure to drink water if I did that. But some days, my hands would be shaking so bad, that I would eat something (I always had food just in case). Not to mention a bad diet can make you pass out (yes, I've passed out before, and this wasn't even from fasting). Ramadan lasts for a month, so I can't eat as long as the sun is up. Despite waking up at 5am and eating breakfast, and eating at night, it still takes a toll on my body because of the lack of energy. When ever I was going to go through an excessive sports period, I would make sure to eat properly for the two days before.
Point of the matter is, you may look skinny, but it doesn't make you healthy. I may be a bit overweight, but at the same time, I'm healthier than skinny people who eat a lot of junk foods.
Doing what you're doing? Yeah, maybe you'll lose weight, but then you might have muscle problems in your future. You might seriously damage your body. You might get an ulcer. Purging can ruin your teeth, start taking away at the linings in your body... I mean... all this just to be skinny? Is it really worth destroy your body over? I mean, you can still lose weight, and at the same time strengthen your body, build muscle, reduce your chances of heart problems in the future... why go for the method that has more downsides that upsides?
