I'm a guy, 20 years old, and I always think everyone doesn't like and thinks I'm ugly. I felt like this ever since 1st Grade in Elementary school when the guys in my class, and sometimes girls, would pick on me and I always felt it was because they either hated me or the didn't like the way I look. I was the only guy in class that had lots of black hair and they use to say I looked like a girl because it grew fast and also have olive skin and brownish green eyes. Most of them followed me all the way through to the end of High School and it still continued, except I sort of stood up to them more at times but then they told some others that I was quite because I didn't like anyone else. I didn't go to prom because of it and now I have a hard time looking others in the face, especially girls because I'm afraid they'll not like me. In stores sometimes it's hard for me to make eye contact and I always find other people staring at me oddly. I'm not real sure how to get over it and I'm timid about College because I'm afraid it'll be the same.
I think i have the same exact problem. I hate looking people in the eyes to make eye contact i think it's because i have no self confidence at all. So i fake it. I act like i do but i rly don't. I guess you just have to fake it untill you really do. I think people think i'm ugly and i think i'm way uglier than i really am.

If you think you are attractive then believe so and don't care what other people think that you look like. its all you. if you can't look at people in the eye then it's okay. You'll get through it. i move my eyes alot when i talk to someone. i move my eyes alot when i think.
