How does tuition work? I ask this because dont you just pay for the classes you take? Like lets say tuition was 6000. Student A takes 4 classes fall semester. Student B take 2 classes fall semester. Would they still both pay 6000? Or would one pay more? Do you just pay for the classes you take? How does that work?

There are part-time and full-time tuitions when you go to a University. If you were to go to a Community college then you pay per class.

It's per credit. They usually estimate it by using a standard 16 credit semester.

Yeah, there is a cost per credit hour. Most classes are three credits, with some classes and most labs being one credit. The tuition cost for a semester is based on an average amount of credits. Both students from your example would pay different prices.
