Well why not SL's have a scrolldown SLmenu which includes new eHelps that need to be answered instead of constantly having the annoying flashing red cross, and also, whenever a SL votes to hide a post it should come up on the SLmenu leading you to a link of the post.

I know we already have a SL Quick Hide group, but really, I think this would be much more efficient and it would automatically be on every SL's account. The SL Quick Hide group doesn't have every SL on LiveWire which leaves some out in the rain...

Anyways, I just thought this would be a good idea and I wanted to discuss it with my fellow SL's to see what your opinions are on this suggestion.

Im not a member of the quick hide group as it is...

But you know a load of none SL's are going to be up in arms about us talking about deleting posts. We'll get accused of mob mentality, and not thinking about each individual post.

Also, as annoying as that flashing eHelp thing is, I think it's made to be that obnoxious so that we will rush to go help out our peers.  .....Like superman.

Most of the requests to hide were for posts that *could* have stayed. It's ridiculous.

And it's fine the way it is IMO.

Listen, some support leaders may be trigger happy with hiding posts, but it's very few and even with or without the SLmenu, they will remain this way. I'm just thinking it would be a cool idea and more efficient and faster for SL's to get things done.

Idea has potential, but I think how it is now, is fine.
And for the record, The Quick Hide group is pretty much full people who argue their ass off if their request is kept instead of hidden.

Let's get one thing straight here.  

By adding the SLmenu, it let's the SL's know when there's a post that needs hiding. It takes two SL's to hide a post.

Mods can trace who do these actions.

It most likely won't get worse, and if by chance it does, the Mods will know who the idiots are that's doing it and they can handle what needs to be done.

if you want to address any need to have other SLs be notified when a post is voted to hide: if not a single SL sees it and votes to hide, how many members will see it? there are a lot of us who are active, i don't really think anything like that is necessary at this point.
