I hate this... I did it last time, but never submitted the form, my dad is so useless when it comes to doing it, and for every question, he says zero.  And he ends up yelling at me about how he has no income, how our mom screwed up his life and mine, how he should have had money for my college but my mom messed that all up... -__-'.  *Sigh* I'm so dreading doing this again, but at least this time, he lives a 6 hour plan flight away... he won't be able to yell -__-'.

Anyone else have to fill in FAFSA forms, and do you have as much trouble as I have when it comes time for it?

I did mine just recently, actually. Or rather, my Dad did mine. All I have to do is put the info in online and submit it.

Last year's was hell, though.

My dad realized how insane my mother is with me, with anything that has to deal with money and college so he helped me out ALOT this year and I love him dearly for that.

Our situation is a bit weird... I dunno.  He literally tells me to put zero on EVERYTHING.  And it sucks, because I can't be considered dependent even though I don't live with them...  But he's going to help me pay for school, no way I can get that much money... so I'm thankful for that :).  Just so hard getting the form submitted...

Even though they made it easier by doing online, it's still a pain.  But it's the only way to get scholarships, grants or on campus work, or a student/parent loan.

Doing mine was horrible! my frist year my mom did mine, and then this year i had to do my own, and since i moved up here to wisconsin, all my paperwork and taxes and stuff like that are in florida, so trying to get my mom on a day off and have her tell me the numbers and wow...it was hard. talk about a high phone bill.
