I'll have to agree about dirty (stray dogs everywhere), the beaches and tourist spots are beautiful though.  But the culture (dance/music/food)?  :/

Dance was good but not the best (that was Spain).  Music....I actually loved but it's not exclusive to Puerto Rico.  They actually steal a lot of it from Jamaica, Cuba and Mexico.

And the food....if you get it authentic it's pretty good but it's hard to find that.  It's overrun by fast food.

I wouldn't call it stealing when a musical style evolves from or is influenced by another.  I refer to salsa and reggaeton obviously.

But, ah well, opinions, opinions.

I did not like Barcelona that much. The US was good. Not all of it, but most people were open-minded and interested in where I come from.
