do you value your new college friends as much as old friendships from highschool?
in college, what kinds of changes in [platonic] relationships do you notice?
any other thoughts about friendship in college?

i'm curious.
i've never really had a "best friend" and i doubt some of my social abilities. i just wanna know what to expect next year. i don't wanna be lonely!

most ppl when you leave high school you may never talk to or see again. sometimes that's good because the ppl who don't mature you wnt have to deal with their shitty drama ne more. and the good, cool ppl or your close friends u will stay in touch with them. high school is something u want to look back on happily. i think college is the best time to make good friends. you'll meet ppl who are more mature and it's just really cool. i haven't started college yet, but trust me I have a lot of cousins and friends that have bn thru it.

well, according to most of my friends, college is much more acceptable than the typical high school student body.
everyone is open-minded and, therefore, easy to interact with.

surely, one can easily come to value their college friends as much as their high school friends, others won't.
simply because high school friends have been there for you and know you a lot better, i mean they've known you for four years!
whereas a college freshmen hasn't really befriended such intense relationships, simply because you're new and are trying to accustom to your surroundings.

but is it impossible? no, college friends are also going to be there for a long time. college is the most important aspect of pursuing a higher education, it's simply the place to be

certain changes you might notice are probably loss of constant communication, simply because college keeps you busy.

just expect an entirely new environment, full of people completely willing to hear your opinions. im sure that you'll find at least someone to hang out with and consider a close friend, just because colleges tend to have so many different types of people with unique personalities.
everyone is capable of finding new friends in college.
